Our two high percentage Arabian Pinto mares, EA StormN' Irish Luck and Fine Irish April both gave birth to fillies by our purebred Akhal-Teke colt, Miril (Maruk X Dar Khanum), this year. Aurora ("Rorie"), a blaze-faced light bay that looks almost chestnut, was born to Fine Irish April on the 15th of April. This is the most naturally friendly foal I've ever raised. She practically came out seeking attention from her humans. At not quite eight months of age, she's already nearly as tall as her 14.2hh mother.
Miss Nike ("Missy") is a darker bay (like her mother) with a star shaped like the Nike Swoosh. She was born to EA StormN' Irish Luck on the 7th of August. This one has been more of a challenge to build trust with because she was born in the middle of the night with no humans around. She's been handled every day since, however, and stood quietly for her first farrier session recently so she'll be fine. Both fillies are eligible for registration in the Russian general studbook as half bred Akhal-Tekes and are for sale. They should both be dynamite endurance prospects.
